The x402 protocol allows AI agents and applications to make autonomous micropayments for APIs and web resources. OpenFacilitator offers a free public endpoint at pay.openfacilitator.io, or users can create their own white-labeled facilitator for $5/month with custom domain support. The service is non-custodial, supports EVM chains and Solana, and is fully open source under Apache 2.0.
